Czech University of Life Sciences Prague publishes the deadline for submission of study applications. Together with administration procedure, admission requirements, time and verification method of their fulfillment, general content of the entrance examination, evaluation criteria and the highest number of admitted students for the following study programes.
Applicants for Bachelor's and Master's programs must fill out the application form found at
http://prijimacky.czu.cz. The application form could be fill out from
December 17, 2012 till
March 31, 2013. There is a non-refundable application fee of 550 CZK

Successful solvers of subject Olympiads (Competition in foreign languages and Geographical Olympiads) guaranteed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic are eligible for admission without entrance examinations for selected bachelor study programme.

All applicants meeting the basic requirements will need to pass a written/oral entrance exam in order to be accepted into a Bachelor's or Master's study program. Qualified applicants will be informed
by May 10, 2013. The date, hour and location of the written/oral examination will be announced at
http://prijimacky.czu.cz.
Any applicant who has previously been enrolled on two occasions as a student at the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (Institute of Tropics and Subtropics), without successfully completing either degree, will not be admitted to further studies.
What to bring to the entrance exam:
- ID card (or passport)
- certified copy of diploma from former studies/nostrification2
2 Candidates who graduated from schools outside the Czech Republic must submit a certified translation of previous coursework (including an official copy of a graduation certificate) before they can be admitted to the entrance exam. (This certification must be done by a Czech organization. Please contact us with any further questions about this process.)

Admissions Process for Undergraduate Programs
Prerequisite knowledge and subject matter for entrance exams for Bachelor's study programs are categorized below according to the field of study.
BSc.: Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture

The content of these written tests is similar to material taught at a high school level. The aim of the written test is to verify the knowledge base of prospective students.
Admission into a study program will begin with applicants with the highest exam scores and continue in descending order until all open position have been filled.

If, owing to serious reasons, an applicant can not be present for a designated entrance exam, an alternate date can be arranged. The applicant, however, must submit notification and explanation of his situation before the date of the entrance exam. The Dean of FTA is responsible for all decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of applicants. All applicants will be notified in writing within 30 days of their entrance examination. Applicants have 30 days to appeal any decision.
Admissions Process for Graduate Programs:
Applicants to the graduate program must submit the equivalent of an undergraduate degree in either an economic or science background. The specific concentration of the undergraduate degree will determine which study programs the applicant may choose to pursue at FTA. If an applicant would like to pursue a field of study which is not directly related to his/her previous coursework, he must submit a motivation letter and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the subject matter.
The Rector of Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and the Dean of the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences have set the fee for the academic year for all graduate study programs conducted under our English language accreditation. The fee amount is every year specified.
